God's presence takes precedence

Then Jesus answered and said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of Himself, but what He sees the Father do; for whatever He does, the Son also does in like manner. ~John 5:19

The Bible is the word of God

All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness. ~2 - Timothy 3:16

Christ has set us free through His finished work of redemption

Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage. ~Galatians 5:1

Salvation creates a new identity. The person who accepts Jesus Christ has a whole new start

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. ~2-Corinthians 5:17

Personal discipleship, that is, being learners of Jesus and students of His Word, is a way of life

But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. ~James 1:22

The grace of God is not a license for a careless lifestyle, rather it is God's ability to cultivate freedom in Christ

For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age ~Titus 2:11-12

Being a Christian is not a life of toil, but God's yoke is gentle and easy

But those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint. ~Isaiah 40:31

We focus on the truth and hold it up, we do not compromise in this regard

He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. ~Mark 16:16

As part of the body of Christ, we want to be respectful of other faith communities

Honor all people. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honor the king. ~1-Peter 2:17

We believe in God-given authority and that He instituted leadership

Obey those who rule over you, and be submissive, for they watch out for your souls, as those who must give account. Let them do so with joy and not with grief, for that would be unprofitable for you. ~Hebrews 13:17

We believe it is our job to take the gospel to the whole world

And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. ~Mark 16:15
